Is Infrared Heat Safe?
Yes, infra-red heat is within the same frequency levels as our own body heat and this is in tune with our own energy system. It is therefore safe and compatible for us to use, allowing deep heat penetration that is not possible with other methods of heating. Is the infrared thermal system safe for me? What exactly is radiant heat? No need to worry. It has nothing to do with either ultraviolet radiation or atomic radiation. Radiant heat is simply a form of energy that heats objects through a process called conversions, without having to heat the air in between.
The Formostar emits infrared heat that goes straight through the skin and right to the bone. That's why it's used for sports injuries. Because when you damage a muscle, the heat goes right to the bone and promotes blood circulation, which will help to alleviate pain. That's also why infrared heat is awesome for arthritis. Once the heat has reached the bone, it has to go somewhere... so it rises. And gets right underneath the fat cells, which include cellulite. It warms the body at a constant temperature. The temperature remains constant from minute 1 to minute 50, which melts away the fat.
Traditional Body Wraps
Although clay, mud and seaweed body wraps try to achieve the same results, there are major differences between how the Infrared Body Wrap and other body wraps work. For example, clay bandages are heated in a pot and once removed, quickly decrease in temperature. Time is then spent in the wrapping process, which takes 15 minutes or more during which time the bandages continue to decrease in temperature. Once wrapped, the heat level has gone so low that the system is only effective for the initial 10 to 20 minutes of the one-hour treatment. The heat dissipates and becomes virtually inadequate.
These observations about other methods of wrapping are not to say that they do not work...only that they are not as effective. Following is another example of how other wraps are not as effective. A sauna warms the body from the outside in, which makes the body release sweat within minutes. The body's natural function is to keep cool causing the body to merely perspire. Therefore, any temporary reduction in weight is generally from water that has been perspired.
The Infrared Body Wrap, as opposed to the above methods, uses infrared heat. Through the twenty five years of its use, infrared has come to be known as a treatment with many benefits and the great thing about infrared heat is that it is able to penetrate the body and go directly to the bone. The Infrared Body Wrap does not warm the body from the outside in; it warms from the inside out!
We recommend coming in wearing loose sweats.
